Here are a couple sketches I did of Omi and Kimiko from the show Xiaolin Showdown. I finished watching the entire series and wanted to do some fan-art but in a different style. I decided to go more realistic as it's been a while since I've been able to do so, also adding some years and experience to the characters. They took me some time to get "perfect", but it was well worth the time and effort, not to mention I'm still earning to be proficient in digital medium. I wanted to keep them looking traditional monk-ish with some individual differentiations between the characters (besides them being different genders). I wanted Omi to be portrayed as still being powerful and experienced, where-as Kimiko is more "fluid" and still keeping some of her old style with her (the tight skirt and free-flowing hair hint at that). Raimundo and Clay will be posted together soon, and then the collaboration can be put together, followed by a color in. Everything is and will be done digitally in Photoshop.
